Do I pay anything now?
No. Orders are not open yet. We read your details and reply by email with a quote and next steps. Nothing is charged until you agree a price with us in writing.
Is my recipe kept confidential?
Yes. Your formula is only used to prepare your quote and, if you go ahead, your safety assessment. We do not share it with anyone else, and we delete requests 12 months after we receive them unless you become a customer.
My recipe is in grams or drops. What do I do?
Weigh every ingredient, including essential oils, then divide each weight by the total batch weight and multiply by 100. That gives the percentage (% w/w). For example, 20 g in a 400 g batch is 5.00%. Drops are not accurate enough for a safety assessment.
I make the same base in several scents. One form each?
No. Send one form for the base with one scent, and list the other scents or colours in the notes at the end. Each extra scent or shade on the same base is £35 + VAT, up to 10 per base. If any other ingredient changes, send a separate form: it is a new recipe.
How much will it cost?
Essential is £99 + VAT and Filed is £139 + VAT per recipe, up to 25 ingredients. Credit packs bring Filed down to £109 + VAT a report, and Express (report within 2 working days) is £49 + VAT per order. We check your product is eligible before you pay, free of charge.
What if I do not have all the documents yet?
Send the form anyway. We will tell you exactly what else is needed in one list, so you only have to ask your suppliers once.
