Who you will work with
A scientist-led team
Product development is run by the scientist-led team at FRUU Cosmetics, with over 20 years in science, from drug discovery and academic research to cosmetic regulation. Since 2017 we have formulated, made and assessed natural cosmetics for our own brands, supplying national retailers and independent shops.
Safety assessments are signed by Dr Terence Chung, our Article 10 safety assessor (the qualification the UK Cosmetics Regulation requires) and a scientist with a background in drug discovery research.

Product development: common questions
Can you improve a formula I already make?
Yes. We can review and rework a product you already make, for example to improve its texture or stability, swap an ingredient, or fix something that would hold up a safety assessment.
Can you make the product for me?
We can manufacture agreed small batches in our GMP-compliant facility in London. Tell us your rough quantities in the form and we will tell you what is possible. Your Responsible Person remains responsible for the finished product on the market.
Is the CPSR included?
A safety assessment and SCPN notification can be part of your project, prepared by the same scientist-led team that runs CPSR Express.
